Name pronounced: Anxiety
Story behind the name: An homage to Robert Cowan's Crippling Depression after losing to him at AVC 2022. Follows the RoboJackets tradition of ending the name with roman numerals to indicate iteration/version.
Weapon: Horizontal Undercutter
About the bot: Anxietii is a 2WD live-shaft undercutter featuring a sloped and bent titanium front plate to deflect hits. The chassis is composed of machined 2024 aluminum. The robot also has TPU side armor and modular wedge and fork attachments that can be used depending on the opponent. The weapon has a 15" effective diameter and features a torx-shaped pocket which the shaft interfaces with to transfer torque.

Story behind the name: ARES is the Greek god of war, and we intend to bring war to the box.

Name pronounced: Chonk-iv
Story behind the name: All of the team RoboJackets robots end with at least one "i". The number of "i"s is the number of years the robot was iterated upon. Chonki was originally named because it is a shuffler shell spinner with a chonky weapon!

About the bot: We came up with the design for Chonki after hearing Knock Off White in the test box at Motorama. It was super loud and that was reason enough for us to try to build a shuffling shell spinner.

Name pronounced: Choose Kindness
Story behind the name: I was inspired to build a combat robot when my teacher offered this project as an independent study. I've always been curious about what it would take to create a battlebot, and finally getting this opportunity is incredibly exciting.

About the bot: This is my inaugural attempt at crafting a combat robot. I've been actively learning every step required to participate in this competition. The minibot, named Lil Empathy, was a last-minute addition to the design.

Story behind the name: It's the orange ghost in Pacman, who is programed to move pretty much randomly and is generally considered pretty dumb compared to the other pacman ghosts (inky, blinky, and pinky). We didn't expect our first robot to do fantastic, so Clyde was an appropriate name.

Story behind the name: I was going through the NHRL registration and it asked for team name and I thought it meant bot name, so I put Applesauce as my team name, since that was the name I was going for, then it asked for team name and I was like oh crap, so I just made one up on the spot, Cyanide can be found in apple seeds so I thought it made sese.

Story behind the name: I was listening to the song Raindrops (Insane) by Metro Boomin and Travis Scott and the song starts with "Drop top in Rain, this night feels insane" and my other robot is "Reign". It just kinda clicked like, "oh droptop and reign".

Story behind the name: I wanted to make a simple name that would stand out for a robot with this big of a weapon it needed a powerful name.

Story behind the name: Event Horizon is modeled after a black hole, with the chassis being the black center and the orange blade representing the accretion disc. The event horizon is the point of no return for any object falling toward a black hole. Nothing can escape once it has passed that point, not even light.
Weapon: A 400g ar500 ring that orbits the robot.
About the bot: It has four motors driving its blade. This allows it to spin up ludicrously fast and acts as a form of redundancy should a motor go down.

Story behind the name: I want to enter BattleBots with a bot called MoonShot. I figured I’d make a 12 pounder with the same name. So, I worked backwards from there and I thought of the name Test Launch for a 3 lb version but wanted to start with a non-kinetic bot and decided to name it Ground Control

Story behind the name: The word "radix" is Latin for root. I thought it fit the undercutter design used by the robot well.

About the bot: Radix is almost completely 3D printed. Most of the body is a single TPU print which is great at absorbing shock. However, this means the weapon assembly can flex a lot during hits. Most of my design considerations for this robot consisted of making sure this flexing doesn't break anything important.

Story behind the name: In our first design, the robot’s weapon was made from several slices of material, so we chose the name Sliced Bread. We’ve since changed the weapon but decided to keep the name. If nothing else, when we lose we can tell our opponents “they must be the best thing since Sliced Bread.”

Story behind the name: Triangles! because triangles!
I learned in school that triangle is the strongest shape so we applied it to the entire robot wherever possible, body is a triangular wedge, weapon is made up of three triangles even the weight saving cutouts are triangles. We hope our triangles will try hard, hence the Tri-Hard

About the bot: It is our first bot, many iterations went into it and several months of work. Me and my dad printed the body out of TPU with only a little bit of titanium for top armor (if we can fit under weight), side armor is our coolest feature, we hope it to takes much of the hits and lets us keep going. Story behind the name: It is a RoboJackets tradition to name all robots with an 'i' at the end, so that was a primary consideration. This is the second iteration, so there are two 'i's at the end. We knew we wanted to build a vertical spinner that hit hard and could take hits like a tank, just like a Tsunami, which stops for nothing and destroys everything in its wake. Plus it was between this and John F. Kennedi.
