Name pronounced: ray - dix
Story behind the name: The word "radix" is Latin for root. I thought it fit the undercutter design used by the robot well.
Weapon: AR600 Undercutter
About the bot: Radix is almost completely 3D printed. Most of the body is a single TPU print which is great at absorbing shock. However, this means the weapon assembly can flex a lot during hits. Most of my design considerations for this robot consisted of making sure this flexing doesn't break anything important.

How you got into combat robotics: I love watching Battlebots on TV. So to pass the time during COVID, I downloaded a free copy of Fusion 360 and just started trying to teach myself how to build my own robots. Once I competed in Norwalk HAVOC for the first time in November 2020 when I was 13 years old, then I was really hooked! Now I am trying to start a Robotics Club at my High School, so please like and subscribe to my You Tube Channel ‘Angry Archery Robotics’. My goal is to eventually compete on Battlebots!!

Story behind the name: Penguins are an objectively cute animal and we like to believe that if given the opportunity, a penguin would eat a frog. This makes Waddles! the natural predator of Ribbot.
Weapon: Whatever we feel like! It's modular! (Usually an undercutter or a vert)
About the bot: Waddles! is built, machined, and ran by Team WPI. Waddles! is a chance for experienced beetle builders to advance their skills in designing and manufacturing larger robots. It is also intended as a pipeline for important skills and knowledge so that they are not lost when seniors graduate. The most important part, however, is for us to have fun! NOOT NOOT!!!

Story behind the name: It's designed to drill into bots like a woodpecker drills (or pecks I guess) into wood. Also, woodpeckers do eat beetles and other insects, like how hopefully Woodpecker will eat through beetleweights.

Story behind the name: All of the team RoboJackets robots end with at least one "i". The number of "i"s is the number of years the robot was iterated upon. Chonki was originally named because it is a shuffler shell spinner with a chonky weapon!

Story behind the name: Osiris is the Egyptian God of Death. His divine spark was collected by the Data Lich in 2022, however his vessel was inadequate and required refinement.

Name pronounced: Pronounced like the word Anxiety
Story behind the name: Pronounced like the word Anxiety, but spelled with an I at the end because Georgia tech robots label their iteration/version number via Roman numerals at the end of the name. Anxieti was a name suggested by one of our team members (Todd Hayes), and it just stuck.
Weapon: AR 500 Stell Disc (horizontal Spinner - undercutter)
About the bot: Anxieti’s design philosophy is “the best offense is a good defense”. The robot features thick slanted grade 5 titanium plates on all sides with the goal of being “wedge-like”. Their purpose is not necessarily to get under things, more so to deflect energy coming from competitor weapons and protect the bot. During nhrl march, some of the mounting geometry failed leading to a catastrophic match against STF. This time, with some upgrades to the chassis, we are confident the armor will be able to do its job and stand up to some of the amazing bots at nhrl! We can’t wait to compete!

Story behind the name: It's the orange ghost in Pacman, who is programed to move pretty much randomly and is generally considered pretty dumb compared to the other pacman ghosts (inky, blinky, and pinky). We didn't expect our first robot to do fantastic, so Clyde was an appropriate name.

Story behind the name: Triangles! because triangles!
I learned in school that triangle is the strongest shape so we applied it to the entire robot wherever possible, body is a triangular wedge, weapon is made up of three triangles even the weight saving cutouts are triangles. We hope our triangles will try hard, hence the Tri-Hard
